And I have Yak Trax's too and love them. It's a bit like walking on gravel without the snow, but so great on those icy and snowy roads!Jenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12870882429676385594noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3714803799410649749.post-59580224877843062622010-01-20T10:53:52.393-05:002010-01-20T10:53:52.393-05:00No, I don't think it is bad to slow down at al...No, I don't think it is bad to slow down at all. The father of a girl I baby sat wiped out in the snow and said he felt like he was in a car accident. He hurt his knee, elbow, shoulder and neck! When I went home for the holidays I had to run on the snow and it was awful! My pace drops by minutes, my legs get all wierdly sore, it's HARD! I've run uphill on trails in a foot of snow, I can walk as fast as I can chug that, but I can feel it working my legs different when I run verses walking it. Winter training is a challenge! I haven't run with a dog on a leash, that has to be an added bonus!Carolhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18097848458815362441noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3714803799410649749.post-86037175513589857712010-01-14T09:51:17.625-05:002010-01-14T09:51:17.625-05:00Running in the snow is a WORKOUT!
